Clif High and the Psychics
When I was a young man, an older lady told me, “every body is just a little bit psychic.” Of course I thought she was “just a little bit crazy,” what with her too many crystals dangling from the front porch overhang of her farmhouse way out in the country. But time has a way of broadening your perspective.
Many years later, I heard Clif High express a similar thought, albeit in a way that I found much more reasonable. Particularly after the road less traveled, that I have so enjoyed. Essentially, all humans have some degree of innate intuitive sense that I’ll call spiritual sensitivity, which sometimes leaks out unconsciously through the language they use.
“There are more things in heaven and earth Horatio…”
Clif’s argument is that humans are like “antennas” that can pick up psychic energy, or impressions from the broader reality of our existence. No doubt you have been in a position to read the room, and felt “vibes” that are not neatly categorized within typical zoomer euphemisms. In quiet moments around other people, whether alone, or in a crowd, have you ever felt uplifted, or dragged down, though no words were spoken at all?
What if, more than simply feeling the “up” or “down” emotions that people broadcast, as most of us do… some people’s receiver has a higher gain setting?
These signals we pick up on don’t stay locked in our heads. They leak out through our word choices, phrasing, and language patterns. Especially in unfiltered, casual conversation, of the sort that we engage in online (encouraged, ironically, by the myth of anonymity that so many apparently cling to).
“…Than are dream’t of in your philosophy.”
Most people are unaware that they are leaking the signal they absorbed as it washed over them. So it’s not clairvoyance in the traditional sense. Just little bits that leak out in casual communication.
High’s software scrapes massive amounts of text from internet sources, and analyzes the change in emotional values tied to the use of certain words (refined by High over the course of many years). The shifts in these emotional patterns are tracked over time, and projected forward to forecast shifts in collective mood (zeitgeist), and upcoming events.
The whole system depends on the premise that if enough people are faintly attuned to their intuitive sense, and then leak those received impressions into casual conversations, collectively… combing through vast amounts of online noise, might uncover signals that reveal what is coming. It’s a bit like mining the collective unconscious for hints about the future.
“The problem with People…is people”
No doubt you can see a glaring problem right off the bat. About the best you’re going to get out of such a system is that “something is going to happen,” along with varying degrees of emotional intensity. It wasn’t until after the fact, that Clif High was able to discern what was meant so many years before when his software pulled “sun virus” from the noise. Sun –> corona, see what I mean?
This is fringe territory, and there are those who dismiss it out of hand, while there are others who treat it like a modern day Nostradamus (whose record was unimpressive). High is up front about the pros and cons of his software, stating without equivocation that it’s a 50/50 shot.
What if you could hedge your bets?
So far, what I’ve told you about predictive linguistics doesn’t lend itself to confident prognostication. But what if we could remove some of the unknowns, and use it as a sort of early warning system for events we already know will take place… And then limit the early warning timeline to the very near future. Less than 90 days out, rather than some unknown point “out there” in the future.
I don’t have access to Clif High’s software, and this is an experiment for my spare time, so the data is limited to what I can gather by automated means. X.com seems like a reasonable sea of data in which to fish. So Grok is the most logical choice for a trawler.
After the blue headline below, is the prompt I have written for Grok. It’s a work in progress, and I expect to make changes.
Some of you will recognize immediately what I am looking for, and in what context. But for those who don’t, a brief explanation is in order.
For reasons I will detail elsewhere, I am confident that the events described in the book of Revelation are imminent. I believe the first indicator we will see is Revelation chapter 5, verse 13. It’s anything but subtle:
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
{Revelation 5:13}
When this happens, if I am away from an information source, I want to hear about it as soon as possible. Because it signals the start of troublesome times.
Revelation 5:13 is followed shortly by the events of Revelation chapter 6. Known colloquially as the “four horsemen of the apocalypse,” if you look around at current events, you can plainly see that they are in the starting gate, and the buzzer is getting ready to sound.
The result of this ride, is the death of 25% of the population of our planet. After that, it gets weird…like “Twilight Zone” weird.
When it begins, things are going to happen quickly. So I’d like to keep watch (as He told us to do in Mark chapter 13 and elsewhere).
This “mining” of X for predictive linguistics is a little side project that helps me hone my AI prompting skills, and listens for any anomalous emotional language that might validate the theory that most everyone has some intuitive ability. You’re welcome to copy and play with it yourself if you want. Let me know what you find.
Although this is a very narrow focus, there is probably a lot I have missed as potential indicators. So, as you read through the list of things I am directing the AI to search out, and you know of other items that should be on the list, please get in touch: text, comment, use the contact page, etc.

2026.v4 – most recent edit: 17 Mar 2026
Role / Persona: You are a data analytics specialist with expertise in predictive linguistics analysis. You have access to experts (both credentialed and intelligent laymen) in [cyber, geospacial, business, military, signals, strategic, tactical, counterterrorism] intelligence, focused on primary-source signals, and incentive mapping in the X universe.
Objective: Identify testimony & data that indicates global trends and events are on a trajectory toward Conquest, War, Famine, Pandemic (pathogen/disease), and/or Systemic Collapse. Also identify emotional language indicators that there is a spike, or widespread premonition among credible users that “something is coming.”
Task/Mission: Deep scan the X-universe for high-emotion tension signals (described by Clif High and “predictive linguistics”), and conventional data. Flag any contradictions with verifiable primary data.
Constraints & Guardrails:
- Use only sources from the last 7 days.
- Use a 14-day forward window.
- US-centric point-of-view, but global perspective, note interdependencies and (domino or butterfly) effect.
- Identify potential insider leaks as such (careless post, exploitation of metadata, digital dragnetting, insider threats, disgruntled employees, insecure privat channels).
- Spike definition: 3 or more independent reports, from at least 2 geographic regions, withina 7-day window.
- Give more weight to corroborating accounts by unconnected users, particularly if they are geographically dispersed.
- No speculation.
- Do not moralize or editorialize unless I explicitly ask.
- AI slop filter – Cross-reference “anomalous” reports with known AI-generation watermarks or metadata. Prioritize concurring reports from multiple sources, with multiple comments that validate source as non-AI generated.
- Linguistic forward horizon – Identify “fear clusters” – words appearing together with 500% more frequency than last month (e.g., [“conscription” or “draft”], or CBDC + currency restrictions or ATM closures, or [“screwworm” + “lockdown”], etc).
- Freedom alert – advise of imminent threats to individual freedom / minimum regulation.
- Logical inference is desirable. Label it as such.
Signals:
- Widely reported (>25 geographically dispersed tweets, unconnected users, multiple assenting comments) sense of collective premonition/anticipation or awareness of an imminent shift.
- Anomalous animal behavior (Revelation 5:13) –
